Characteristic of the locality

At present, Čierna Voda locality belongs among preferred areas that is convenient for family houses construction. The locality is becoming one of the most favourite suburban quarters of the capital thanks to its good location and an excellent traffic connection with Bratislava (public transport is also available and a highway approach to the highway Bratislava-Trnava is being prepared).

Čierna Voda locality is a local part of the village Chorvátsky Grob (for more information, click www.chorvatskygrob.sk), which is located in a 15 km distance from Bratislava and a 10 km distance from Pezinok. The history of Chorvátsky Grob village has been written down since the year 1214, when the village was known under the name Monar.

The residential quarter Monar Alley is situated at the crossroad between Chorvátsky and Slovenský Grob villages, only a half kilometre from a thermal spring. From the western side, the quarter is adjoining with the National park Šúr that stretches on the area of 370 ha and is the home of not only reptiles and amphibians protected by law but also of a rare flora. You can find here, besides the picturesque nature, the whole range of options for active free time spending – hiking, biking, horse riding and a golf courses.
